About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Sollis Health. As a Concierge Emergency Medical Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in our clinics, working closely with our attending physicians to ensure seamless care.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers, with strong clinical skills, technical ability, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fluid, multitasking environment and adapt to changing situations.

Responsibilities
  • Medical Evaluations and Treatment: Perform medical evaluations, formulate differential diagnoses and treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
  • Procedures: Perform medical procedures including obtaining IV access, splinting, suturing, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and performing EKGs.
  • Covid-related Cases: Assess and treat Covid-related cases, obtain clinical samples for testing, perform point-of-care testing, and provide general symptom management and recommendations.
  • Documentation: Document clinical evaluations and treatment in the electronic health record, AthenaHealth.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a team of Physicians, nurses, and technicians to discuss assessments and ensure quality care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Required. Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program required.
  • Licensure: Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner state license and ability to practice in California required.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in emergency departments and/or urgent care centers preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required upon hire.
