We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC). As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff, and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Communication: Answer and respond to phone calls, messages, and emails in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the medical team, including data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks.
- Mail and Package Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages to the appropriate staff members.
- Supply Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the mailroom and supply areas.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
