About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to join our team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist. This is a 13-week travel assignment in Laredo, Texas, where you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Technologist to work as a CT Technologist in our radiology department. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures. You will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during CT scans to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret CT scan results and develop treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and CT scan results
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
