Position Summary

The Senior Tax Analyst will collaborate closely with Tax Management to enhance and sustain superior tax processes that ensure precision and punctuality in:

  • Interim and year-end tax provisions in line with ASC 740 for GAAP;
  • Non-GAAP analysis adhering to company policies;
  • Tax forecasting and cash tax projections for the organization’s Long Range Plans;
  • Management of Tax Automation Processes and Software;
  • Federal and state compliance support;
  • SOX compliance and assistance.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the following areas:

  • Preparation of consolidated tax provisions and tax footnote reporting under US GAAP for quarterly and annual SEC financial disclosures;
  • Preparation of Non-GAAP effective tax rate schedules and reconciliations for management reporting;
  • Cash tax projections and Company PLAN and LRP (long range plan) preparation, including ad-hoc tax reform modeling and M&A modeling;
  • Tax journal entries for quarterly and annual financial reporting;
  • Tax attributes (utilization and carryforwards) and calculation of 382 limitations;
  • ASC 740-10/FIN 48 calculations and support with new tax exposure analysis and documentation;
  • Implementation of process enhancements and automation initiatives;
  • Experience with OneSource Tax provision software: OTP, UTP, ITC;
  • Assistance with Quarterly/Annual SOX Internal Control documentation;
  • Conducting income tax research and drafting tax technical memoranda;
  • Support and coordination for US tax compliance.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • 2-4+ years of relevant experience in corporate and/or public tax accounting;
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required;
  • CPA certification or MST or a comparable advanced degree is preferred;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proactive team player, adaptable and flexible;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines;
  • Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Exposure to tax research, analytical, and reconciliation skills;
  • Experience in financial reporting for income taxes;
  • Prior experience in non-GAAP tax reporting is a plus;
  • International exposure (e.g., transfer pricing, IFRS, local statutory reporting, BEAT) is advantageous;
  • Experience in building tax forecasting models in Excel and other tax planning tools is beneficial;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); Alteryx experience is a plus;
  • Life Sciences background is a plus;
  • Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP is a plus.
