Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory, ensuring that all testing is performed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic data
  • Develop and implement quality control programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current CA CLS license
  • A. or B.S. degree and completion of an accredited Med Tech training program
  • 3-5 years management or supervisory experience in a clinical laboratory
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Record systems implementation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of CLIA, Title 22, CAP, AABB, local, state, federal regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in using all Microsoft Office products
