Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN at Prairie Mountain Health, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients/residents/clients, adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their skills and expertise to deliver exceptional patient care. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
* Provide nursing care to patients/residents/clients, adhering to scope of practice and guidelines
* Obtain and maintain relevant competencies for the position
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
* Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Active practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
* Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Training
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider and Renewal
* Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Provider and Recertification
* Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) knowledge
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Satisfactory employment record required
