Senior Restoration Specialist

Blue Kangaroo PACKOUTZ of N Metro Milwaukee is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional results. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restoration and contents division.

• Restoration and Contents Expertise: Develop and implement strategies to improve restoration and contents services, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
• Job Estimating and Planning: Create accurate job estimates and plans, taking into account customer needs, resource availability, and project timelines.
• Software and ERP Systems: Utilize multiple software and ERP systems to manage operations, track progress, and analyze performance metrics.
• Long-term Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement long-term plans to drive business growth, improve efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, ensuring effective communication and coordination among departments.
• Budgeting and Cost Management: Analyze and optimize departmental budgets to minimize expenses and maximize profits.
• Employee Engagement and Development: Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best, providing opportunities for growth and development.
• Communication and Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with the General Manager and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company priorities and projects.
• Process Improvement and Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
• Inventory Management and Control: Oversee the inventory, packout, cleaning, vaulting, wrapping, staging, and pack back of documents/merchandise, ensuring accurate tracking and control.
• Staffing and Scheduling: Adjust staffing levels and schedules according to volume, priorities, and holidays, ensuring adequate resource allocation.
• Safety and Compliance: Develop and implement safety programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Investigation and Resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and other operational issues, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Staff Meetings and Communication: Conduct regular staff meetings, ensuring open communication and transparency.
• 5Ss and Standard Operating Procedures: Implement and maintain the 5Ss (sort, straighten, shine, standardize, and sustain) and company Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the restoration and contents industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Knowledge of software and ERP systems.
