Job Title: CNC Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at The Slabe Machine Products. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming Multi Axis - Turn Mill machines, setting up, and adjusting the machines settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programming instructions for machinists.
  • Review and analyze 3D CAD design blueprints to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform calculations and make recommendations for programming, including material cutting and placement.
  • Translate instructions into computer-automated manufacturing (CAM / Part maker) programs.
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to ensure program accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Test and validate completed programs through simulations or tests.
  • Prepare geometric layouts of designs using specialized software.
  • Determine the sequence of operations in a program.
  • Select cutting tools and materials for optimal results.
  • Analyze job orders and perform necessary calculations to optimize production.
  • Develop and modify programs to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze and select speeds and cutting tools for programs.
  • Improve setup times and contouring of complex shapes.
  • Simplify tooling time for workers and increase productivity for clients.
  • Evaluate completed designs to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Monitor programs to ensure they follow blueprint instructions and safely complete tasks.
  • Provide training for clients on automated systems.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
