Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapeutic interventions and strategies.
- Work closely with students in both individual and small group settings to foster their communication and language development.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the overall educational plan.
- Provide feedback to Speech-Language Pathologists regarding student progress and performance.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with communication disorders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or speech-language pathology assistant in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
- Knowledge of relevant assistive technology and resources.
