Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans and under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor residents for signs of medication reactions and report any concerns to the nurse immediately.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all medications administered, including dosages and times, on the medication administration record (MAR) chart.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Licensure: Current, unencumbered state license as a Certified Medication Assistant required.
