Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Coordinator to join our team at the Springfield JCC. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for supporting all registrations and collections throughout the agency, including our early learning center, before and after school programs, vacation camps, youth recreation programs, summer camp, and other programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for all children, families/caretakers, and staff.
  • Work with management to respond to needs and concerns of families/caretakers and staff.
  • Process program registrations and communicate with necessary departments/people to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Support early childhood, afterschool, and summer camp programs.
  • Complete monthly tasks related to voucher subsidy.
  • Assist in the financial assistance process with the COO, as needed.
  • Track all program registrants and adhere to monthly billing requirements and accounts receivable with the support of the CFO.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as a team, build positive relationships, and maintain a collaborative environment among staff, families/caretakers, and the broader JCC community.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, sound judgment, and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Integrity for your work and the role within an agency/organization.
  • Proficiency with technology, including Google Suite, Accrisoft Freedom, and other programs as needed.
  • A basic understanding of Jewish culture, values, and traditions and/or the willingness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of program records and administrative information.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of administrative support and financial experience that includes registration and accounts receivable.
