Job Title: Network Communications Manager 1

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Network Communications Manager 1 to join our team of professionals supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Fort Chaffee in Arkansas.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Network Support Team (NST) in providing communication architecture for efficient and effective installation network operation.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement exercise support communications plans.
  • Configure communications equipment and implement Cyber Security processes.
  • Assist in installing equipment and circuitry in support of exercises.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Network Management or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Network Architecture design and implementation.
  • Master's degree in Network Management or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Network Architecture design and implementation.
  • Experience with advanced planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance on the Microsoft server platform.
  • Cisco router, switch, and firewall configuration.
  • Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) configuration/architecture.
  • Specific product lines (Cisco, Fujitsu, Hewlett Packard, and Tripwire).
  • RMF Assess and Authorize process and Cyber Security requirements.
  • Must have or be able to acquire Information Assurance Training (IAT) Level II Certification within 180 days from start of work.
  • Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Strong understanding of technology integration and information flow including LAN/WAN, firewalls, security, storage, and backup methodologies.
  • Employee will frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds around the worksite.
  • Must be able to support shifts that occur outside normal working hours to support 24/7 operations during exercise events that may be more than 40 hours per week.
  • Must be able to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time).
  • Must be able to work on-site at Fort Chaffee in Arkansas.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hold additional CompTIA certifications, such as Security+, Network+, and A+.
  • Vendor certifications for CCNA, Windows, Server, and Redhat Linux.
