Job Summary:

As an HVACR Service Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the repair, start-up, and troubleshooting of commercial HVACR systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the repair, start-up, and troubleshooting of commercial HVACR systems
  • Ensure all documentation is complete with proper turnover to the office support staff
  • Diagnose problems and make repairs to HVACR systems
  • Knowledge of basic construction methods, including braze or soldering parts to repair defective joints and leaks
  • Install and adjust valves according to specifications and charge system with proper type of refrigerant
  • Mount compressor, condenser, and other components in specified locations on frames, using hand tools and oxy/acetylene welding equipment
  • Keep records of repairs and replacements made and document causes of malfunctions
  • Collaborate with management team to maintain MCC's technical abilities and reputation in the marketplace
  • Keep management informed of progress by keeping daily logs
  • Willingly provide insight, suggestions, and methods to improve MCC as a company
  • Proactively take on other tasks, as needed
  • Complete tasks accurately and on time
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of related work experience
  • Universal EPA Certification
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
  • Willingness to relocate to Springfield, Missouri, or within a 60-mile radius

Work Schedule:
