About the CNC Machinist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at InTech Athens. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in the production of complex spinal and orthopedic instruments that improve the lives of patients around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate state-of-the-art CNC machinery (turning, milling, swiss) to produce high-quality parts.
  • Collaborate with fellow machinists, operators, lead, and manager to ensure efficient and safe production.
  • Accurately read drawings and specifications, including geometric tolerances and dimensions.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and apply knowledge of GD&T callouts to effectively run quality parts.
  • Monitor machine feed and speed, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean and orderly production floor.
  • Take ownership of quality issues and implement solutions to meet customer and quality objectives.
  • Meet or exceed productivity and scrap goals while maintaining excellent product quality.
  • Document work accurately and participate in meetings to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in CNC setup and advanced operation.
  • Proficient operation of CNC equipment and tooling.
  • High School Diploma, GED, Trade School, or equivalent work experience.
  • Machining experience in a Mazak environment preferred.
