Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team at NexCore Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties and providing exceptional service to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onsite Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks, identify and address any issues, and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Tenant Support: Provide excellent customer service to our tenants, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Oversee and assist in the general repairs and maintenance on properties, managing services of equipment as required.
  • Service Coordination: Make necessary service calls on equipment and arrange for prompt service work when needed.
  • On-Call Support: Provide on-call response to support operations team during off-hours as required.
  • Vendor Management: Work with various vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions for maintenance and repairs.
  • Quality Control: Monitor jobs to ensure quality and property compliance with job standards.
  • Estimating and Budgeting: Gather bids and prepare estimates for costs of various jobs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of jobs performed, affiliated billing charges, invoicing, and hours worked.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend improvements, changes, or new techniques or procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in general building maintenance, carpentry, construction, or an equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of general OSHA safety requirements, demonstrated mechanical aptitude, working knowledge of common hand tools and testing equipment, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Benefits
  • Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
  • Eligible Benefits: Performance bonus, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, HSA, commuter benefits, employee assistance program, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, vacation days, sick days, and other benefits.
  • Travel: This position will require some travel throughout the Colorado region.
