Position Summary
We are looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology who is a skilled clinician with extensive experience in patient care. This role requires a deep understanding of the specific needs of patients within this specialty, utilizing acquired knowledge, research, and experience to effectively respond to clinical changes. The ideal candidate will:
- Provide safe, reliable, and effective care to patients independently, employing the nursing process
- Implement the Synergy Model for Care in practice, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each patient and their family
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members
- Accurately document the nursing process in the appropriate formats (e.g., electronic records, clinical pathways, charts)
- Incorporate patient and family input into care planning
- Assess patient responses to care and modify plans as necessary
- Advocate for patients based on a thorough understanding of their conditions
- Acknowledge and integrate cultural differences in developing relationships with patients and families
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the relevant licensing board. Candidates should be graduates of an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the last five years or have recently completed a re-entry nursing program.
BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification may be necessary in specific departments.
