The Registered Nurse (RN) 2 is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a safe and therapeutic environment. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve desired outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure in New Hampshire
- Basic Life Support certification
- One year prior clinical nursing experience
The Registered Nurse (RN) 2 works in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with frequent exposure to airborne pathogens, blood-borne pathogens, and bodily fluids. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne contaminants, chemotherapeutic agents, electrical hazards, moving mechanical parts, non-weather-related heat or cold, slippery surfaces, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands of this role include regular lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds, and occasional lifting, carrying, or pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to bend, reach, sit, squat, and stand frequently, and climb, do repetitive motion, kneel, and smell occasionally.
