Job Title: Residential Construction Land Acquisition Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Acquisition Manager to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for acquiring undeveloped land or finished lots for development, working closely with property owners, brokers, land developers, city officials, and other stakeholders to secure land.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and secure land acquisition leads
  • Perform title and municipal research, and initial "cold call" inquiry for potential land leads
  • Provide initial meeting with seller and/or seller's representative
  • Prepare letters of intent
  • Maintain close relationships with land developers, brokers, and land owners
  • Underwrite and analyze the financial aspects of each development opportunity
  • Negotiate purchase contracts with sellers
  • Communicate regularly with city officials

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in land acquisition or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, real estate, or a related field
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
