Certification Requirements- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- CHEMO - Chemotherapy Certification
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute Certification
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing care in the ICU/PCU environment.
- Managing patients in Stroke PCU with potential assignments to other units as necessary.
- Demonstrating proficiency in EKG interpretation and advanced life support techniques.
- Working collaboratively with the healthcare team during weekends and holidays.
Applicants must possess:
- A valid KY or compact nursing license.
- Required certifications including EKG, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
- Preferred experience in neuro/stroke care.
Only AHA certifications are accepted. Advanced AWHONN certification is required for Labor & Delivery. ENPC is acceptable in lieu of PALS. ONC certification is mandatory for Oncology, Chemotherapy, Biotherapy, and BMT. TNCC certification is required for Emergency Room roles. Specific certification verifications are necessary for Cath Lab Techs, Sterile Processing Techs, and OR Tech/Surgical Tech.
