Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water & Wastewater Resident Project Representative I to join our team at Herbert Rowland & Grubic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting on-site observations, documenting and reporting non-conforming work, and ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site observations of work in progress to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Document and report any non-conforming work to the project manager.
  • Conduct final inspections to ensure that all items are completed or corrected and make recommendations to the project manager concerning acceptance.
  • Draft proposed change orders and work directive changes.
  • Review project schedules, schedules of shop drawing submittals, and schedules of values prepared by the contractor.
  • Maintain field observation reports, including photographs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in construction observation and administration relative to water and wastewater projects.
  • Basic survey, grade, and cut sheets, and quantity data.
  • NICET certification, desired.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Valid driver's license to travel to job sites, meetings, and/or regional offices.
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
