Job Purpose:

The primary role involves supporting both new and existing clients, along with their vendors, throughout all stages of technical readiness. This includes assisting clients in preparing for testing and certification, maintaining testing logs and scripts, configuring databases, and leading the resolution of technical issues during integration with our authorization server.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the certification environment, providing technical support to both internal and external clients, while making informed decisions regarding the setup and support of new and existing clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive support logs.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as bin range setup and allocation.
  • Generate and fulfill test card orders in-house as necessary.
  • Configure new client codes across various internal applications and monitor system jobs for errors.
  • Lead the end-to-end testing process for clients, ensuring a controlled environment that mirrors production standards.
  • Act as the primary technical consultant for clients looking to install, upgrade, or modify their online authorization interfaces and batch file processes.
  • Advise on program enhancements or corrections to developers, ensuring client applications are production-ready and compliant with processing standards prior to installation.
  • Provide support to service providers and assist with point-of-sale issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, coupled with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic understanding of online message layering, TCP/IP, SSL or HTTPS protocols, networking components, and FTP processes. Familiarity with mainframe systems is preferred.
  • Clear comprehension of client-server relationships and the entire gift card authorization process, including card production and batch jobs.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Restful Webservices, ISO8583, SOAP-based webservices, HP Nonstop, and Unix systems, along with basic data communications knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and adept problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook; multilingual skills are a plus.
