About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to fill a 13-week assignment in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Bridgton, Maine. This role requires a high level of expertise and dedication to providing top-notch patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the PCU setting, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, monitor patients' conditions, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts and departments.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Maine or ability to obtain quickly.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a PCU or similar acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $$140,000 - $160,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
