Job Title: Clinical Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Clinical Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care activities under the direction of a registered nurse.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Care Technician is an integral part of our nursing team, responsible for promoting and implementing patient and family-centered care. You will observe and report patient responses to intervention/treatments, prepare the patient environment for admission or transfer, and greet and escort newly admitted patients and families to their rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote and implement patient and family-centered care
  • Observe and report patient responses to intervention/treatments
  • Prepare the patient environment for admission or transfer
  • Greet and escort newly admitted patients and families to their rooms
  • Assure that all patients have appropriate identification bands on at all times
  • Prepare patient for meals, assist in feeding, and/or feed patient and report food intake to RN
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association only
  • Ability to perform all competencies of the position
