Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday (8-hour shifts) with no weekend requirements
  • Standard hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a correctional environment.
  • Evaluate the physical, psychological, and social aspects of patients; gather health histories and prepare written assessments upon admission.
  • Document and communicate triage decisions to appropriate healthcare providers during custody and upon discharge.
  • Formulate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Execute medical care plans that include diagnostic tests and procedures as per physician directives.
  • Administer medications accurately and implement nutritional and therapeutic diet plans.
  • Assist physicians with medical or minor surgical procedures as required.

Qualifications

  • Active state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment background checks and drug screenings
