We are seeking a skilled Plumber Apprentice to join our team at Ace Hardware Home Services. As a Plumber Apprentice, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of technicians in the field, performing hard and manual labor, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Support a team of technicians in the field, ensuring seamless execution of plumbing services.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including digging, climbing, carrying heavy items, and cleaning.
- Assist the warehouse staff in maintaining a well-organized and efficient workspace.
- Develop strong communication skills to educate customers on plumbing issues and provide solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, presenting yourself as professional and knowledgeable to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with teammates in the field and in the office, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Be prepared to adapt to changing situations and assist wherever needed.
- Embody high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity in all aspects of your work.
- Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR.
- High standards for work quality and a commitment to excellence.
- A growth mindset and a desire to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- The ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude.
- Dependability and consistency in all aspects of your work.
- Physical dexterity to operate hand and power-driven tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach in all directions.
- Ability to maintain balance while working at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and/or mechanical lifts.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, and work in high, precarious places.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work outside, exposed to heat and cold.
- Ability to see and read with or without vision aids.
- Ability to hear and speak to exchange information.
- Ability to perform maintenance duties and read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
