Job Description

The Final Assembly Mechanic is a critical role in our production process, requiring strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Ensuring that the fire apparatus chassis is built and functioning correctly;
  2. Coordinating with multiple departments to troubleshoot production issues;
  3. Torquing bolts to specific settings according to build specifications;
  4. Adjusting fluid levels to ensure proper operation;
  5. Performing adjustments to alignment and performing running tests to ensure component functionality.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures is essential, as well as proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.
