We are seeking a skilled Emergency Care Technician to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a vital member of our emergency services department, you will provide technical and multiskilled direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of licensed nurses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care through all spectrums of the lifespan
- Perform IV starts, venipuncture, splinting, bladder catheterization, and EKG procedures as delegated by licensed nurses
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of ECT core competencies within six months of employment
- Less than 2 years of experience: certification or geriatric nursing assistant course required, one year patient care technician or emergency medical technician experience preferred
