About the Role
The Commercial Vehicle Operator is a vital member of our logistics team at US Foods, Inc. This critical position involves transporting and delivering products to customers in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless interactions with customers and colleagues.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual who can operate a variety of vehicles, including straight trucks and refrigerated trailers. Our ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class A license and prior experience in the commercial driving industry. Additionally, they must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including straight trucks and refrigerated trailers.
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure accurate and safe loading and unloading of products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Prior experience in the commercial driving industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
