About the Position:
We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Oswego, NY. As a Psych NP, you will be responsible for managing assigned patients in the adult and geriatric inpatient unit.
You will work collaboratively with physicians and APPs to assess, diagnose, and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols. Your duties will include obtaining complete medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, completing medication management, making referrals for specialty consultations, and educating family members on preventative health care services.
No prior experience is required as we welcome new grads. Our team provides comprehensive patient care in an in-treatment unit setting, working closely with other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.
