Position at SBM Management

SBM Management is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee the operations within the designated program. The Custodial Supervisor will be responsible for managing both permanent and temporary staff engaged in various activities, including custodial services, clean room operations, recycling, relocations, and maintenance tasks. It is essential to uphold, implement, and exemplify safe working practices and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks performed by team members within the assigned program.
  • Facilitate training for staff on job functions, safety measures, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and oversee daily work activities.
  • Prepare written documentation, including pass-down reports and weekly or monthly summaries.
  • Conduct inspections for quality, service, and safety compliance.
  • Manage inventory of equipment, including maintenance and repair tracking.
  • Oversee the inventory of supplies and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Distribute equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Monitor staff adherence to personal protective equipment and proper use of supplies and tools.
  • Report personnel and customer-related issues to the supervisor.
  • Address at-risk behaviors immediately and report them to the supervisor.
  • Document and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
  • Provide suggestions for improvements in areas requiring corrective action.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including training logs, inspection results, and data collection.
Qualifications
  • One to three months of relevant experience and/or training; a high school diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle registered in the applicant's name are necessary, as driving is a requirement (mileage will be reimbursed).
  • Proficient computer skills and the ability to perform basic functions are essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, time management skills, and training capabilities are preferred.
  • Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
Shift: Wed - Sun 6:00pm - 4:30am

Compensation: $16.50 per hour
