As a Senior Insurance Solutions Architect at Endava, you will bring a minimum of 10 years of experience within the insurance domain, showcasing a robust grasp of technology, stakeholder engagement, presales activities, sales presentations, and post-sales support. Your role will involve collaborating with account, delivery, and sales teams to provide tailored solutions for our clients.

In your capacity as an Enterprise Architect with extensive insurance industry experience, you will play a crucial role in high-level discussions during presales initiatives and take an active leadership position in projects aimed at delivering client solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Endava and Client Enterprise & Solution Architects to evaluate, define, and enhance architectural outputs.
  • Interpret and translate client business objectives into future-state technology and architectural roadmaps.
  • Shape the scope, requirements, and technical strategies of projects proactively.
  • Review client solutions and recommend enhancements and strategic directions aligned with client goals.
  • Partner with commercial and sales management to develop and present strategic initiatives to client stakeholders.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders during client engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 10 years of expertise in the insurance sector.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude, capable of contributing significantly to industry-focused initiatives.
  • Proven experience in aligning technology strategies with business objectives, developing and implementing strategies and architectures in large corporate settings.
  • Hands-on experience in insurance architecture, including capability mapping, application frameworks, and establishing architectural standards.
  • Experience working within large enterprises alongside architecture and agile teams, centers of excellence, and cross-functional operations.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales and account teams to tailor Endava's responses to stakeholder needs and opportunities.
  • Strong capability to become a trusted advisor to senior technical stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of various agile delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in managing client and stakeholder expectations.
  • Highly articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness in presenting compelling business cases for change.
  • Ability to maintain focus and initiative during negotiations.
  • High levels of accountability and the ability to work across functions to ensure positive client outcomes.
  • Experience in areas such as London markets, personal lines, commercial lines, brokerage, and reinsurance.
  • Familiarity with architecture domains (e.g., security applications, data, infrastructure), frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman), and modern design practices (e.g., Domain-Driven Design, microservices, Cloud architecture) is advantageous.
  • Experience with contemporary software development practices and environments such as DevOps and cloud computing.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, .Net, Python) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with insurance platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, ISC) is highly desirable.
