Job Summary

Unity Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in various areas of the hospital, including special care units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonatal to geriatrics, taking into account age-specific considerations.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in training and education programs to enhance skills and knowledge in respiratory care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Registered or eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Ability to lift patients and push heavy equipment, wheelchairs, and other medical devices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
