Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform new patient intake and screenings, including medical history, physical examination, laboratory, and diagnostic studies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and education for chronic conditions.
  • Provide counseling to patients and their families to promote prevention of illness and maintenance of health.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • Experience in family practice nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of healthcare services.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional travel and may involve working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The selected candidate will be required to pass a background investigation and obtain a security clearance.
