Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in post-acute care facilities, adhering to care plans and protocols
  • Check vital signs, report concerns, and maintain a clean and sanitary environment
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as toileting, grooming, and feeding
  • Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare staff
  • Move residents safely and comfortably, repositioning as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Connecticut Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Effective organizational and communication skills
  • Appropriate bedside manner
