We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Ocala. As a Registered Nurse on our Progressive Care Unit (PCU), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and analyze the health status of patients on the PCU, performing comprehensive assessments and documenting findings according to policy and procedure.
- Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care delivery.
- Direct and coordinate patient care activities on the PCU, communicating with healthcare teams and documenting patient care given, including assessments, plans, interventions, and patient responses.
- Provide patient education based on assessed needs and evaluate understanding, ensuring patients and families are empowered to manage their health.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least two years of relevant experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Florida RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
