Housekeeping Manager

Spearfish Canyon Resorts is seeking a highly skilled and organized Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily activities of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout our 54-room lodge, 1 cabin, and 2 two-bedroom apartments.

• Manage and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting the resort's standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve workplace efficiency and goal achievement.
• Train and develop new and existing housekeeping staff on new programs, company initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain staff hours and breaks, as well as inventory and supplies.
• Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and following proper safety techniques.
• Collaborate with other members of the management team to create a positive, productive, and respectful team environment.

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or management role.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
