Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to women and newborns, including pain management, fetal monitoring, and coaching.
  • Care for and educate mother/baby postpartum, with a focus on antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care.
  • Adapt to stressful situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered nursing degree from a recognized nursing school.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa.
  • BLS (CPR) certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP certification within 1 year.
  • Obstetrics-Certified EFM within 1 year of completion of OB orientation.
