Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to women and newborns, including pain management, fetal monitoring, and coaching.
- Care for and educate mother/baby postpartum, with a focus on antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Adapt to stressful situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Registered nursing degree from a recognized nursing school.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa.
- BLS (CPR) certification required or obtained within 3 months of hire.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP certification within 1 year.
- Obstetrics-Certified EFM within 1 year of completion of OB orientation.
