We are currently seeking enthusiastic part-time team members to join our new ice cream store. As ambassadors of Van Leeuwen, our team members embody our high standards in every interaction. Candidates should be available for at least three shifts per week, including late-night hours. We value self-motivated individuals who can thrive both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate possesses vibrant energy, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for ice cream.
Part-Time Ice Cream Associates at Van Leeuwen earn $16.00 per hour, plus an average of $5 per hour in tips.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve all menu items to guests while adhering to established service standards.
- Process customer transactions accurately at the register.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store and comply with sanitation protocols.
- Provide exceptional service to all customers.
- Assist with inventory management and receive deliveries from vendors.
- Adhere to Van Leeuwen's safety, grooming, uniform, and conduct standards.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible scheduling availability.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Food handler certification is a plus.
- Barista experience is advantageous.
The actual salary offered will depend on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, education level, and any certifications held.
Hourly Range:
$16-$16 USD
