About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro Critical Care team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to patients with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making
Requirements
  • Current state RN license or multistate compact license
  • Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
  • Current American Heart Association PALS Certification
  • NIHSS Certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
