The Ask IT Consulting team is seeking a skilled PRN Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a PRN LPN, you will be responsible for providing person-centered education to students, assisting in the day-to-day functions within the campus First Aid Center, and performing nursing tasks such as medication observation, treatments, and documentation.
Responsibilities- Assess students at the First Aid Center with a triage approach
- Record vital signs
- Observe students self-administering medications and document progress
- Oversee the medication observation process
- Perform treatments as ordered by providers
- Respond to medical emergencies on campus
- Document essential findings in the student's medical record
- Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Attend meetings as requested
- Adhere to established protocols and procedures
- Currently licensed as a practical nurse in the state of TN
- Possesses knowledge of basic laboratory practices
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Ability to provide clear, concise information in a classroom setting
- Basic knowledge of electronic data usage
- Must have exceptional customer service skills
- Basic skills using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Candidate must be local
- Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Please note that this is an ongoing need with no planned end date. The duration of this requisition is listed through 6/30/25, but candidates will be started as they are hired/onboarded.
