Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Borgess Allegan. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized plans of care to meet their unique needs.
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and educating patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the quality of patient care and promote a culture of safety.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to other team members as needed, and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Maintain current Michigan licensure to practice as a registered nurse.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required, or within 6 months of hire, if applicable.
  • Certification in area of expertise preferred.
