Substitute Custodian

Job Summary:

The Calhoun County School District is seeking a Substitute Custodian to provide support for our facilities team. As a Substitute Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools, as well as assisting with special events and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain assigned facilities and contents
• Assist with moving and arranging rooms for special events
• Be responsible for building security by locking and unlocking doors and gates
• Make minor non-technical repairs
• Maintain school grounds

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
