About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop medium to large complex customer technology platforms or architectures
  • Maintain active relationships with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop business requirements
  • Analyze and classify complex change requests and identify and document possible system code enhancements
  • Demonstrate knowledge of industry trends, our products, and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineers and graphic designers to analyze and classify complex change requests and review and evaluate possible enhancements
  • Work with development teams to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare functional and/or technical specifications
  • Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements
  • Understand the product and analytics and drive requirements that take into account stakeholders' needs
  • Identify problems/risks
  • Code and maintain complex components of information systems
  • Mentor others on coding standards and perform code reviews
  • Review test cases and advise QA on adjacent code/regression impact
  • Develop and perform system testing and fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results
  • Aid in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts
  • Provide on-call support and monitor the system and identify system deficiencies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on one platform, multi-database, multi-language, or multi-business application
  • Strong knowledge of front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, AJAX, and JSON
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, AngularJS, and Angular 8, 12, 16
  • Experience working on frameworks and tools like Spring MVC, Spring Boot, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Gradle, Ajax, GIT, SVN, Bamboo, Jenkins, Urban Code, Splunk
  • Knowledge working on Asynchronous message-driven architecture patterns using JMS, Amazon SQS
  • Experience working on different databases like Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB, MSSQL, MySQL and strong knowledge in SQL, PLSQL, and store procedures
  • Extensive knowledge in containerizing and deploying Java applications using Docker, Docker compose, ECR, Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge in integrating CI/CD pipelines with tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Jenkins
  • Experience in addressing and fixing application vulnerabilities using security tools such as Checkmarx, Veracode
  • Proficient in leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS), including hands-on experience with core services such as EC2, ECS, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Step functions, Lambda, and CloudFront
  • Experience working in Agile environment for software development
  • Experience mentoring others, leading small projects, and providing troubleshooting support is strongly preferred
