POSITION OVERVIEW:
Deliver exceptional in-home support for both children and adults facing developmental challenges during the absence of their primary caregivers. Care Providers are responsible for addressing the client's physical, recreational, nutritional, developmental, and social requirements. Engaging in activities tailored to the client's age and abilities is essential to enhance their overall quality of life.
VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: All new hires must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including the booster, or qualify for exemptions based on medical or religious grounds.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide non-medical, in-home assistance for clients with developmental disabilities.
- Support clients with personal care and daily living tasks, which may encompass dressing, bathing, grooming, feeding, diapering/toileting, or hygiene needs.
- Engage clients in activities suitable for their age and capabilities.
- Ensure the safety of clients in their homes while parents or guardians are away.
- Prepare meals and snacks as needed.
- Document any incidents and submit reports accordingly.
- Respond promptly and responsibly in emergency situations.
