We are a dynamic team at rabbittransit, passionate about providing mobility solutions to our community. We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission.

The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of all functions of Human Resources, including workforce planning, compensation & benefits, employee relations, organization development, and labor relations. A strong background in recruitment and selection, employee relations, labor relations, and benefit administration is essential.

This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and receives broad guidelines and sets priorities for self and staff. The Human Resources Business Partners report to this position.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and implement initiatives to ensure an inclusive environment. They will also be able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and bring credibility to the HR function through professional qualities, leadership skills, and a high level of integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the human resources function, including workforce planning, compensation & benefits, employee relations, organization development, and labor relations.
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt workers; work with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; monitor career-path program and employee relations counseling.
  • Manage benefit administration for employees to include newly eligible, qualifying events, terminations, and open enrollment.
  • Communicate problems to insurance carriers and or broker and follow up for resolution.
  • Handle necessary processing in various carrier and broker systems regarding enrollments and terminations.
  • Approve all insurance invoices.
  • Conduct investigations of complex and/or serious employment matters; provide counsel, training and technical assistance to employees, supervisors, and management on employment law and employment-related issues and problems.

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred. Prefer Certification: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), or Sr. Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
  • Seven to ten years generalist background with broad knowledge of all functions of Human Resources to include workforce planning, compensation & benefits, employee relations, organization development, and labor relations.
  • Ability to lead change initiatives.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups and implement initiatives to ensure an inclusive environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to bring credibility to the HR function through professional qualities, leadership skills, and a high level of integrity.
  • Ability to be self-motivated and results-oriented to accomplish objectives on schedule.
  • Must possess valid motor vehicle operator's license that is not under suspension or revocation, and possess current automobile insurance coverage.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
