Powder Coating Specialist

Dimar Manufacturing is seeking a skilled Powder Coating Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining powder coat equipment to ensure high-quality finishes on metal components.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation: Set up and operate powder coat equipment to apply a uniform finish to metal components.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Maintenance: Clean and maintain equipment, work areas, and powder storage areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Material Handling: Assist with loading and unloading parts, as well as transferring powder to and from storage areas.
- Communication: Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 years of manufacturing experience, with a focus on powder coating or a related field.
- Skills: Ability to operate powder coating equipment, knowledge of powder coating theory, and basic math skills.
The Powder Coating Specialist will work in a machine shop environment, exposed to dust, grease, and metal shavings. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required to be worn at all times.
CompensationDimar Manufacturing offers a competitive hourly wage of $17-22 per hour, depending on experience.
