We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at UW Health.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide rehabilitative treatment interventions to complex patients admitted to the acute hospital. They will assist the Supervising Physical Therapist in guiding the patient population through appropriate individualized treatment to meet goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will efficiently communicate and work collaboratively with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary teams to carry out comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides rehabilitative treatment interventions to complex patients
  • Assists Supervising Physical Therapist in guiding patient population through individualized treatment
  • Efficiently communicates and works collaboratively with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements:
  • Minimum - Associate Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Minimum - Prior healthcare experience
  • Preferred - Professional experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
