Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Corrections

Location: Sutton, WV

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details:
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Nights
  • Every other weekend

Candidate Type: Local or Travel Candidates

Compensation:
$48/hour blended rate

Pay Breakdown:
  • Weekly Travel Stipend: $32/hr
  • Weekly Taxable: $16/hr

Overview:
We are looking for a committed Licensed Practical Nurse to enhance our healthcare team. The successful candidate will possess a strong dedication to patient care and a solid medical foundation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care across various healthcare environments including clinics and hospitals
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments
  • Assist in minor surgical procedures, including wound care
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Maintain precise medical records using appropriate coding
  • Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe setting for patients and staff

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid LPN license in good standing
  • Experience in emergency medicine or infant care is advantageous
  • Proficient in a variety of medical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving healthcare practices

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract, Travel nursing

Compensation:
$48.00 per hour
