Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Imaging Ultrasonography Echo Tech to join our team at Medical City Weatherford. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of echo/vascular testing procedures, including 2-D echocardiograms, Doppler echos, carotid and venous duplex imaging exams, and other vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of various echo/vascular testing procedures, including 2-D echocardiograms, Doppler echos, carotid and venous duplex imaging exams, and other vascular procedures.
  • Provide optimum patient care while performing diagnostic exams.
  • Work independently, utilizing a variety of sophisticated instruments and demonstrating good judgment and decision making in the treatment and handling of individual patients.
  • Responsible for knowledge of all equipment, orientation of new hires, and monitoring imaging dictation and reports.
  • Maintain all PMs of all CV/Echo equipment and records/documentation of such.
  • Work closely with the director to ensure equipment is operational.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in imaging science or completion of an approved ultrasound training program.
  • Knowledge of all equipment and ability to operate independently.
  • Good judgment and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and call.
