Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients appropriately for scanning specific areas of their bodies
  • Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes
  • Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
  • Explain scanning procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of current CT Tech experience
  • Graduate from a fully accredited Radiology Tech/CT Tech program
  • Active unencumbered CT Tech Indiana state license
  • ARRT Certification
  • One year of Cerner experience
